To begin with—there is no accounting for taste in movies. And to verify this observation I am inviting my friends—my brilliant friends of exquisite taste--or else why would they be—to submit a list—of their 10 top films. My question is this: if 5 of these people produce a list—which equals 50 movies—how many repeats will there be? I dont know--maybe zero. That is the point of this page: to find out. last month was list #1--craigs list--and this month for list #2 we have Stuarts list. Stuart is a painter and retired civil servant. Unlike the typical or lame artist stuart had a plan: to work in civli service, maintain a low profile and retire on a juicy or even semi-juicy pension. Its also called--being smart. |
