Ellen is multi talented. She is an ex- radio personality, the unofficial diarist of los angeles, a champion knitter and a great cook. To eat one of her chocolate macaroons is a life altering experience. She works for HBO and from time to time will lay a DVD of one of the shows on such as myself—the cable challenged. She gave me Curb Your Enthusiasm. She said: I think you will like it. Id heard of the show—that it was funny or at least as funny as tv gets. So I threw the DVD on the machine and watched 15 mintues of episode 1. Then I watched 10 minutes of episode 2 and 5 minutes of episode 3. Then I returned the DVD to Ellen and I said: 1) the guy is a dick, 2) I am funnier than he and 3) if when people think of me they also think of Larry David I would put a bullet through my head right now. |
